Btcusdt Dual-Engine Trend StrategyThis strategy was built and tuned primarily for BINANCE:BTCUSDT on the 1D chart. It is a long-only dual-engine trend-following strategy. The script combines a trend/regime layer with a breakout-and-risk engine, then manages positions through ATR-based initial risk, adaptive trailing protection, and optional regime-aware exits. How it works The first layer is the regime engine. The script can run with the regime filter disabled, with a stricter EMA-based regime filter, or with a lighter mode. When enabled, the regime logic evaluates price location versus the regime EMA, optional EMA slope direction, optional ADX confirmation, and a softer scoring model based on distance from EMA, slope, range position, and reclaim behavior. This allows the strategy to separate stronger trend conditions from weaker or less reliable ones. The second layer is the entry engine. The script can enter through several conditions: 1) breakout continuation above a prior high range, 2) pullback recovery after weakness below a faster EMA, 3) soft-regime reclaim entries when the softer regime model is constructive even if the stricter regime is not fully confirmed, 4) a capped reclaim setup below the fixed EMA200 reference. Entries are placed as stop-style orders, so the strategy reacts when price actually reaches the trigger level rather than assuming a simple bar-close fill. This makes the script more sensitive to intrabar movement than close-only strategies. Risk and position sizing The script includes multiple position control layers. Exposure can be reduced automatically as strategy drawdown increases. Optional volatility targeting can adjust effective leverage using ATR%. Position size can also be capped by a stop-distance-based risk limit, while max exposure and fee reserve settings help keep sizing within defined limits. Exit logic Open positions are managed with an ATR-based initial stop and a monotonic trailing stop that tightens after sufficient favorable excursion. An optional breakeven rule can move protection to entry after a defined profit threshold. After a minimum holding period, the strategy can also use a Donchian-style exit. If regime exits are enabled, the script can additionally tighten or force exits when regime conditions deteriorate. How to use Start on BINANCE:BTCUSDT 1D with the default script settings before changing anything. First calibrate trading costs and execution assumptions. Then adjust exposure and risk controls. Only after that should you tune signal-speed parameters such as breakout length, exit length, and trailing settings. Inputs that matter most commission_value Use this to approximate your actual fee level. slippage Use this to approximate execution friction. It can still experience meaningful drawdowns, especially when trend persistence breaks down or execution quality is worse than assumed. TradingView results may differ from live execution because of fees, slippage, intrabar behavior, data revisions, exchange-specific matching, and alert-to-execution differences. The strategy includes some generic market-structure inputs such as daily limit handling and offline cost placeholders. Confluence Engine Strategy [JOAT]Confluence Engine Strategy Overview Confluence Engine Strategy is a fully automated Pine Script v6 strategy that combines four independent signal layers into a single numeric confluence score (0–100) before executing any trade. Entries require genuine agreement between linear regression momentum, dual EMA trend regime, ATR volatility state, and higher-timeframe bias. All exits are ATR-proportional with configurable take-profit and stop-loss multiples, plus a bar-based timeout and a trend-flip emergency exit. Commission (0.05% per side) and slippage (2 ticks) are configured for realistic backtesting. Why Require Confluence? Single-condition strategies (e.g., "go long when RSI crosses 50") produce entries in every conceivable market environment — ranging, trending, low-volatility, high-volatility — most of which are statistically unfavourable for that signal type. Requiring multiple independent conditions to agree simultaneously filters the entry universe down to the high-probability subset where each individual indicator is operating in its most favourable context. The Confluence Engine makes this filtering explicit and auditable through a numeric score. Signal Layer 1 — Linear Regression Crossover The primary entry trigger mirrors the Regression Flux Candles logic: a 21-bar linear regression of close (LR close) crossing above/below an 8-bar SMA of itself. The LR approach de-noises price before computing the crossover, significantly reducing the whipsaw rate compared to raw close-based SMA crossovers. Signal Layer 2 — Dual EMA Trend Regime Two exponential moving averages (fast: 21-period, slow: 55-period) define the trend regime. Long entries are only considered when the fast EMA is above the slow EMA; short entries only when fast is below slow. This prevents the LR crossover from triggering counter-trend entries in established trends — one of the most common sources of false signals in momentum strategies. Signal Layer 3 — ATR Volatility State The current 14-bar ATR is compared to a 50-bar ATR. Entries are only accepted when the current ATR is above a configurable fraction of the slow ATR (default 0.7). This volatility gate blocks trades during compression phases — low-volatility periods where breakouts frequently fail. The strategy only participates when directional energy is present. Signal Layer 4 — Higher-Timeframe Bias A higher-timeframe linear regression direction is fetched via request.security() with lookahead_off. The HTF LR close vs. HTF LR open comparison gives a single bullish/bearish vote from the higher timeframe. Long entries receive a confluence bonus when the HTF agrees; short entries receive a bonus when the HTF is bearish. This aligns trade direction with the prevailing macro bias. Confluence Score and Threshold Each of the four layers contributes points to the confluence score: - LR crossover in direction: +30 - Dual EMA alignment: +25 - ATR volatility expansion: +20 - HTF bias alignment: +25 Maximum score: 100. The minimum required score to execute an entry (default 60) filters out entries where fewer than three layers agree. This threshold is adjustable — lower it for more signals, raise it for higher selectivity. Entry Logic Long: LR crossover up AND the accumulated confluence score >= minimum AND the signal is on a confirmed bar AND warmup has elapsed AND no position is currently open AND no cooldown bars remain. Short: LR crossover down AND confluence >= minimum AND same guards. A configurable cooldown period (default 5 bars) prevents re-entering the same direction immediately after an exit, avoiding overtrading in choppy conditions. Exit Logic — Four Exit Conditions 1. ATR Take-Profit: Long exits when close >= entry + ATR × TP multiplier (default 2.0). Short exits below entry - ATR × TP. 2. ATR Stop-Loss: Long exits when close <= entry - ATR × SL multiplier (default 1.2). Short exits above entry + ATR × SL. 3. Bar Timeout: If neither TP nor SL is hit within a configurable number of bars (default 20), the trade exits at market — preventing capital from being locked in stalled trades. 4. Trend Flip Exit: If the dual EMA regime flips against the trade direction (fast EMA crosses slow EMA), the trade exits immediately — recognising that the structural basis for the entry has been invalidated. Strategy Properties - Initial capital: $10,000 - Order size: 10% of equity per trade (sustainable risk allocation) - Commission: 0.05% per side (representative of major exchange fees) - Slippage: 2 ticks (accounts for spread and execution delay) - Currency: USD - Pyramiding: disabled (one position at a time) These settings are designed to produce realistic backtesting results. Risk per trade is capped well below the 5–10% equity guideline. Commission and slippage are included to prevent overstating performance. Non-Repainting Design All entries fire on strategy.entry() within barstate.isconfirmed blocks. HTF bias uses lookahead_off. No future bar data is accessed. Historical signals do not shift position. Limitations - The strategy is designed as a general-purpose framework. It is not optimised for any specific instrument or session. Optimal parameters vary significantly across markets and timeframes. - ATR-based exits are approximate. K-Means Regime DetectorK-Means Regime Detector classifies the current market state into three interpretable regimes — Trending , Ranging , and Volatile — using unsupervised K-Means clustering (Lloyd's algorithm) computed entirely inside Pine Script v6. What Makes This Different Most regime filters on TradingView use hand-picked thresholds: "ADX above 25 means trending." Those thresholds were calibrated for one instrument on one timeframe and silently break on others, because volatility and trend distributions vary widely across symbols and sessions. This detector learns the three regime centers directly from the last N bars of the chart it is placed on. No fixed ADX cutoff, no hard-coded ATR multiplier, no external dataset. The boundaries between regimes are re-derived every time the model retrains, so the same script adapts whether you apply it to EURUSD 15m, BTCUSDT 4h, or SPX daily. What It Does On every confirmed bar, the indicator: Computes four complementary market-state features Standardizes them with the mean and standard deviation stored at the last training step Finds the nearest centroid out of K clusters Assigns that cluster one of three regime labels and updates the on-chart dashboard The chart background (optional) is tinted by regime color, and three alert conditions fire on regime transitions. How It Works Four features (why these four) ATR Ratio — current ATR(14) divided by its 20-bar SMA. Captures whether volatility is expanding or contracting relative to its own recent history. ADX — directional movement strength from ta.dmi(). Measures trend conviction regardless of direction. Bollinger Band Width Percentile — rank of the current BB width over the last 100 bars (0 to 1). Captures compression versus expansion on a bounded scale. Momentum Acceleration — short-ROC minus long-ROC. Distinguishes accelerating moves from steady drift. ATR Ratio and BB Width Percentile both describe volatility but from different angles (absolute range vs. relative compression). ADX adds a directional axis. Momentum Acceleration adds a second-derivative axis that the first three cannot see. Together they span a 4-dimensional feature space in which the three regime types separate cleanly. Training (K-Means / Lloyd's algorithm) Accumulate the four features from the last Training Window confirmed bars (default 500). Standardize (z-score) using the rolling mean and standard deviation. Initialize K centroids from evenly spaced samples in the window. Iterate: (1) assign each bar to its nearest centroid, (2) recompute each centroid as the mean of its members. Repeat until no assignment changes or Max Iterations is reached. Retrain every Retrain Interval bars (default 100), on a rolling window, so the model adapts as the market evolves. Regime labeling After clustering, the centroid with the highest unscaled ADX becomes Trending . Among the remaining centroids, the one with the highest unscaled ATR Ratio becomes Volatile . Anything left over is labeled Ranging . This rule-based post-labeling is what makes the output interpretable — pure K-Means would only give you anonymous cluster IDs. Prediction For each new confirmed bar, the current feature vector is standardized with the stored training-time scaler, then assigned to the nearest centroid. A confidence score is computed from the ratio of the minimum distance to the average distance across all K centroids. Non-repainting Every training and prediction step is gated on barstate.isconfirmed . The regime printed on a closed bar will not change on future bars. Historical classifications match what the script would have produced in real time. Typical workflows: Gate your existing setups. Enable trend-following entries (MA crossovers, Donchian breakouts) only when the regime reads Trending. Enable mean-reversion entries (RSI extremes, BB touches) only when it reads Ranging. Size by regime. Consider reducing position size or widening stops during Volatile regimes, where whipsaws are most frequent. Skip breakouts in ranges. Most breakout signals fail in a Ranging regime — use the detector to filter them out. Watch transitions. A shift from Ranging to Trending can mark the beginning of a fresh directional move. Set the corresponding alert to monitor it across symbols. Warm-up and Data Requirements The indicator needs at least Training Window confirmed bars of history before it produces its first classification. During warm-up, the dashboard shows "WARMING UP" and no regime color is painted. On lower timeframes (1m, 5m) make sure the chart loads at least 500 historical bars before trusting the output. About the Clustering Model On-chart learning, no pre-trained model. Every centroid is learned in real time from the chart the script is placed on. There is no external training dataset, no imported weights, and no file upload — the model exists only within the current chart's bar history. Training data source and window. The model fits on the most recent Training Window confirmed bars on the chart (default 500; configurable 100–1000). It retrains every Retrain Interval bars (default 100) on a rolling window, so older data is naturally discarded as the market evolves. Algorithm and convergence. Lloyd's algorithm iterates at most Max Iterations times (default 30) and early-exits on the first iteration where no sample changes its cluster assignment. Convergence is therefore data-dependent but bounded. Features are z-score standardized using the rolling mean and standard deviation over the training window, stored at training time and reused at prediction time to keep inference consistent with training. K is configurable but defaults to 3 (Trending / Ranging / Volatile). This is deliberately low: three regimes are easy to reason about, and with K > 3 the post-labeling rule collapses extra clusters into Ranging. If you need finer granularity, consider a larger Training Window first before raising K. K-Means is a distance model, not a probability model. The "Confidence" field in the dashboard is a distance-ratio heuristic ( 1 / (1 + min_dist / avg_dist) ), not a posterior probability. Do not interpret it as a calibrated probability that the current regime is correct. Notes and Limitations K-Means assumes roughly spherical clusters in standardized feature space. Extreme outliers (news spikes) can distort centroids until the next retrain. Regime labels are heuristic post-hoc assignments based on ADX and ATR Ratio centroid values. With K Clusters > 3 , extra clusters are collapsed into Ranging — a deliberate simplification that can under-represent edge regimes. The three-regime assumption (Trending / Ranging / Volatile) is a modelling choice. Markets that cycle through finer or more exotic states (compression-then-expansion, trending-with-high-volatility, etc.) will be forced into the nearest of these three labels. Classifications reflect the most recently completed bar only and cannot anticipate regime changes before they appear in the features. Expect a lag proportional to the feature periods (ATR 14, ADX 14, BB 20, Momentum 10). On low-liquidity or gap-prone instruments, a single large candle can dominate the feature vector and flip the regime label until the next retrain smooths it out. Training window + retraining is capped by Pine Script's runtime budget. Very large Training Window combined with low Retrain Interval may trigger compile warnings. Past regime classifications do not predict future market behavior. This is an observational tool, not a forecasting model. Regression Flux Candles [JOAT]Regression Flux Candles Overview Regression Flux Candles renders a parallel candle series on top of price using linear regression applied independently to each of the four OHLC components. The result is a noise-filtered "flux candle" — a linearised representation of current price action that removes the erratic intrabar variation of raw candles and reveals the underlying trend direction with far greater clarity. A signal line (SMA of regression close) produces crossover buy/sell signals. Pivot-anchored support/resistance zones mark structural confluence areas. A six-timeframe MTF trend table provides session bias context. The Linear Regression Candle Concept Standard Japanese candlesticks display the raw open, high, low, and close of each bar — capturing every tick-driven fluctuation including news spikes, stop hunts, and market-maker manipulation. Linear regression candles replace each OHLC component with the endpoint of a linear regression line fitted over the last N bars: - LR Open = ta.linreg(open, length, 0) - LR High = ta.linreg(high, length, 0) - LR Low = ta.linreg(low, length, 0) - LR Close = ta.linreg(close, length, 0) The regression fits a straight line through the last N values of each component and returns the value of that line at the current bar. The resulting candle series is significantly smoother than raw price and acts like a weighted moving average of price structure without introducing the directional lag of traditional MAs. Bullish flux candles (LR close >= LR open) render in teal; bearish in purple. Signal Line and Crossover Logic A simple moving average of the LR close (default 7-bar SMA) acts as a signal line. When the LR close crosses above the signal line, a potential buy signal is generated. When it crosses below, a potential sell signal is generated. Crossovers are filtered by: - Volume filter: Volume must exceed the 20-bar volume SMA (configurable). This ensures signals occur during genuine participation, not thin-market noise. - RSI filter: Buy signals are blocked when RSI(14) >= 70 (overbought); sell signals are blocked when RSI(14) <= 30 (oversold). This prevents buying into extended moves and selling into oversold conditions. - Warmup gate: All signals are suppressed until max(LR_length * 3, EMA_length + 5) bars have elapsed. This prevents the statistical noise of early LR calculations from generating false signals. - Confirmed-bar gate: Signals only fire on barstate.isconfirmed — the final tick of a closed bar — preventing any repainting. It paints candles to reflect signal state — no separate panel required. Core Signal Engine The foundation is a volatility-normalized momentum filter. Each bar is scored using a Z-score of ATR(1) against a rolling mean and standard deviation — this isolates bars where volatility is statistically elevated above baseline noise rather than simply "large." Volume is scored the same way. A signal requires both to exceed their respective thresholds simultaneously, filtering out high-volume low-range bars (absorption) and high-range low-volume bars (false breakouts) from the primary vector set. Delta volume is approximated by weighting bar volume by the close position within the range: bull volume = volume × (close − low) / range, bear volume = volume × (high − close) / range. Why Adaptive Fibonacci? Static Fibonacci tools require manual anchor selection, which introduces subjectivity and results in different traders drawing the same move differently. When the actual price is very different from the expected price, the indicator flags that something unusual is happening — the relationship between MACD and price has "decayed" from its normal state. These decay moments often signal turning points, exhaustion, or regime changes. What This Actually Does (In Plain English) Most traders use MACD to spot momentum shifts. This indicator uses MACD as a search key to look through hundreds of past bars and find times when MACD looked similar. Then it asks: "What did price do back then?" If price back then was very different from price now, that's a relational decay — the normal MACD-price relationship has broken down. Think of it like a doctor checking your pulse. A pulse of 80 BPM normally means you're calm. But if your pulse is 80 and you're running a marathon, something is wrong — the relationship between pulse and activity has decayed. This indicator does the same for MACD and price. How It Works Step by Step Step 1 — Record History: Every bar, the indicator saves the current MACD value and price into a rolling memory (default 200 bars). Step 2 — Find Similar MACD Moments: Right now, the indicator looks at today's MACD and searches through history for bars where MACD was very similar (within a threshold). Step 3 — Weight the Matches: Not all matches are equal. Recent matches count more than old ones (temporal decay). Closer MACD matches count more than distant ones. Step 4 — Calculate Expected Price: From all the weighted historical matches, the indicator computes an "expected price" — what price normally was when MACD looked like this. Common Mistakes To Avoid Trading Against the Trend Using Decay Alone: Extreme bullish decay (+2.5) in a strong uptrend might just mean the trend is accelerating, not ending. Use decay as a caution flag , not an automatic reversal signal. Wait for price confirmation (break of a key level, reversal pattern). Ignoring Relationship Strength: A decay score of +2.0 with orange background (strength 25%) is almost meaningless — the historical sample is tiny or noisy. Always check the background color before acting. Your current settings are a solid baseline. Commodity futures (CL, GC, NG) Crude oil and gold have sharp volume spikes around inventory reports and geopolitical events that can distort percentile thresholds significantly. Recommendations: • Push Big percentile to 98–99 — spikes are more extreme and more common • Longer windows — 150/300/500 on 5-minute to capture multi-day context • Directional filter on — commodity moves are more impulsive and noisy Individual equities Highly variable depending on the stock. A mega-cap like AAPL behaves more like an index future. A mid-cap can have very uneven volume. General guidance: • Use longer windows relative to average daily bar count • Turn off Small arrows — individual stock volume is spikier and small signals are unreliable • Be aware that pre/post market volume can heavily skew percentile calculations — consider only trading signals during regular market hours Forex majors (EURUSD, GBPUSD etc.) No central exchange volume — TradingView shows tick volume, not real volume. Futures Gamma LevelsFutures GEX Levels Brings Gamma Exposure (GEX) levels from options markets directly onto your futures charts — fully converted and price-locked. A single indicator that works across NQ, ES, GC, and SI futures with zero configuration needed between charts. Designed for active futures daytraders who use GammaLens (gammalens.markets) as their GEX data source. The Problem This Solves Futures contracts like NQ, ES, GC, and SI have no meaningful native options chain. The gamma levels that actually drive price action on these instruments come from their ETF and index equivalents — QQQ, SPX, GLD, and SLV respectively. But those levels are priced in ETF/index terms, not futures terms. Overlaying them raw on a futures chart puts every level in the wrong place. This indicator solves that by automatically detecting which futures chart you are on, fetching the matching ETF or index price via request.security(), calculating the live ratio, and converting all gamma levels into the correct futures price coordinates — in real time, on every bar. Supported Instruments NQ1! / MNQ1! → QQQ options → NQ/QQQ ratio ES1! / MES1! → SPX options → ES/SPX ratio GC1! / MGC1! → GLD options → GC/GLD ratio SI1! / SIL1! → SLV options → SI/SLV ratio SPX is used as the source for ES rather than SPY, as SPX has significantly deeper options liquidity and is the more accurate representation of dealer gamma positioning for S&P 500 futures. What Gets Plotted Call Wal l — Highest positive GEX strike. Dealers are heavily long gamma here, selling into rallies. Acts as strong resistance. Put Wall — Most negative GEX strike. Acts as support, but a break below can accelerate selling as dealers flip their hedge. HVL / Gamma Flip — The regime boundary. Above it: dealers are net long gamma, dampening volatility, market tends to mean-revert. Below it: dealers are net short gamma, amplifying moves, market tends to trend. GEX Levels 1–10 — Secondary gamma strikes ranked by magnitude. These act as additional support/resistance zones where dealer hedging flows are concentrated. All levels are color-coded, labeled directly above each line in white text, and fully customizable in the settings. How It Works — The Conversion Pine Script cannot make external HTTP requests, so GEX data cannot be pulled automatically. Instead, this indicator acts as a precision conversion and visualization layer on top of your preferred GEX data source. Each morning you paste the ETF/index gamma levels from GammaLens into the appropriate input group in the settings. The indicator then fetches the live ETF or index price using request.security(), divides the current futures price by the ETF price to get a live ratio, multiplies every input level by that ratio to convert it to futures terms, and draws each level as a horizontal line anchored via xloc.bar_time — so lines stay locked to their price level regardless of how you scroll or zoom. Setup (30 seconds each morning) Add the indicator to any supported futures chart — it auto-detects the instrument Open GammaLens (gammalens.markets) and look up the matching source: NQ → QQQ | ES → SPX | GC → GLD | SI → SLV Open indicator Settings and find the correct input group for your chart Paste in the gamma levels (Call Wall, Put Wall, HVL, and any GEX levels you want) Lines appear immediately, price-locked and labeled The same settings persist across all four instruments — you only need to fill in the group matching the chart you are currently on. Info Table A small table in the top-right corner dynamically displays the active instrument pair label, live futures price, live ETF/index price, and the calculated ratio — so you can verify the conversion is current and accurate at a glance. Notes Set any level to 0 to hide it. The ratio updates live on every bar, so converted levels drift slightly intraday as the futures/ETF spread moves — this is normal and expected behavior . Best used on intraday timeframes (1m–15m) for daytrading context. This indicator does not calculate GEX internally. It is a visualization layer designed to work with externally sourced data. Session Volume Profile by AUMBaumgartner# Session Volume Profile – VPOC | TPOC | VAH | VAL This indicator calculates the volume profile of a complete trading session and displays the key statistical price levels directly on the chart — based on the Market Profile principles developed by J. Peter Steidlmayer. The volume of each session is distributed evenly across the High-Low range of each bar and accumulated into price buckets. This produces the following levels: **VPOC – Volume Point of Control** The price with the highest traded volume of the session. This is the fairest price, as the most trading activity occurred here. **TPOC – Time Point of Control** The price touched by the most bars during the session. The time-based variant of the POC. **VAH – Value Area High** The upper boundary of the Value Area. Above this level, price is statistically overvalued. **VAL – Value Area Low** The lower boundary of the Value Area. Below this level, price is statistically undervalued. **Value Area (VA)** The price range in which 70% of session volume was traded. Within the Value Area, price is fairly valued. The Value Area is calculated according to Steidlmayer's original method: starting from the VPOC, the next two price levels above and below are compared. The side with the higher volume is added to the Value Area. In case of a tie, the upper side is preferred. This process repeats until 70% of total volume is captured. The horizontal histogram displays the volume distribution across all price levels of the session. The VPOC bar is highlighted and the Value Area is shown in a distinct colour. **How to use** Buy when price is below VAL, sell when price is above VAH — as long as the market is in balance. If price remains outside the Value Area for 30 minutes or more, a new price level is likely developing. **Settings** Session start and end (HHMM), Value Area percentage, Tick Multiplier for bucket granularity, volume distribution over Range or Close, histogram left or right of the session, and all colours individually customisable.
