Thank you for your feedback. We have carefully reviewed the specific trades referenced. In both instances, the spreads observed at the time of execution were consistent with conditions in the underlying aluminium futures market.
At the times referenced, spreads on XAL/USD widened in line with the underlying aluminium futures market, as confirmed by our liquidity providers. The position sizes involved were significantly larger than the available market depth, meaning orders were executed across limited liquidity, this can result in wider spreads and price impact.
We also found no evidence of any platform disruption. Pricing, execution, and stop-loss triggers functioned as expected under those market conditions.
We appreciate that these conditions may not align with your expectations; however, they are inherent to trading certain instruments, particularly during periods of reduced liquidity. We strongly encourage monitoring Depth of Market (DoM) and underlying market conditions when placing larger trades.
